Hints:
- The three letter codes are industrial tracks.
- To create your own itinerary, choose create a custom task. Then drag available waypoints to your route box. You can reorder by dragging, or return a waypoint to available box to delete it from your route.
- Do not forget Victorville! this station has both stop tracks on the mainline, so there is no way to bypass it. You must always include Victorville track 1 for north facing, and Victorville track 2 for south facing routes that pass Victorville.
- An example of a valid route is: San Bernardino → Victorville track 1 → Yermo Yard. You can bypass all other stations and yards in this route except Victorville.
- An example of an invalid route is MCL → Barstow Yard, because MCL is south facing.
- An example of an invalid route is San Bernardino → Barstow Yard, because Victorville [1] is not specified.
- If you want to travel the 3.6% grade track at Cajon Pass, be sure to include the "Cajon [3]" waypoint in you route, otherwise you will be routed through the 2.2% double track grade.
Cajon Subdivision information and prescribed speeds
This subdivision starts at Barstow (milepost 0), ends at San Bernardino (milepost 80).
Maximum authorized speeds for this subdivision are 70 mph for freight trains, 79mph for passenger trains. Beware that if your particular train has other speed limits, the more restrictive holds. BNSF railroad rules apply to this subdivision.
All turnouts are limited to 30 mph, except:
- Lenwood crossovers (milepost 7), limited to 50 mph.
- Hodge crossovers (milepost 14), limited to 50 mph.
- Victorville sidings (milepost 34 to 37), limited to 20 mph. Victorville crossovers limited to 30 mph.
- Martinez crossovers at Summit Valley (milepost 53), limited to 50 mph.
- Summit crossovers (milepost 56), limited to 50 mph.
- Kenbrook crossovers (milepost 69), limited to 50 mph.
Cima Subdivision information and prescribed speeds
This subdivision starts at Dagget (milepost 159), and has been modeled up to Kelso Depot (mileposts 234 to 236).
Maximum authorized speed for this subdivision is 70 mph for freight and passenger trains. Beware that if your particular train has other speed limits, the more restrictive holds. Union Pacific railroad rules apply to this subdivision.
All turnouts are limited to 50 mph, except:
- Dagget turnout (milepost 159) limited to 40 mph.
- Yermo crossovers (milepost 162), limited to 30 mph.
- East Yermo crossovers (milepost 164), limited to 30 mph.
- Minneola Road crossovers (milepost 166), limited to 40 mph.
- Kelso turnouts (milepost 234-237), limited to 40 mph.
Needles Subdivision information and prescribed speeds
Only 20 miles are available for now. The first available station is Newberry (milepost 726), the subdivision ends at Barstow (milepost 746).

Mojave Subdivision information and prescribed speeds
Only the first 34 miles of this subdivision are available, from Barstow to Borax Mine.
Maximum authorized speeds for this subdivision is 70 mph for all trains. Beware that if your particular train has other speed limits, the more restrictive holds. BNSF railroad rules apply to this subdivision.
All turnouts are limited to 50 mph, except:
- Boron turnouts and sidings, limited to 30 mph.
- Borax Mine Yard and it's branch, limited to 15 mph.
